REVOBOX® Sampling Cabinet | Closed Powder Sampling | FAMAT

Description

FAMAT Flexible Containment Chamber for Safe Powder Sampling

Introduction

Safe sample collection does not end when the sample leaves the process. The FAMAT REVOBOX® Sampling Cabinet provides a closed and ergonomic environment for handling sampling bottles while maintaining product integrity and improving operator safety.

Designed for seamless integration with the DN50 FAMAT sampling valve and available as an option for DN25, the REVOBOX® offers a practical solution for GMP manufacturing environments requiring clean and controlled sample handling.

Watch the video below to discover how the REVOBOX® simplifies closed powder sampling.

What is the REVOBOX® Sampling Cabinet?

The REVOBOX® is a rigid sampling cabinet designed to provide a protected environment for sample collection.

It creates a continuous enclosed passage between the sampling valve and the bottle, eliminating dead zones and allowing the bottle to be closed from outside the cabinet before removal.

This design improves cleanliness, operator safety and sample integrity throughout the sampling process.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Closed sampling cabinet for powder applications
  • Continuous enclosed passage from valve outlet to sampling bottle
  • No dead zone between valve and bottle
  • Bottle can be closed from outside the cabinet
  • Improved operator safety
  • Better product protection
  • Standard solution for DN50 valves
  • Optional configuration available for DN25 valves

How the REVOBOX® Works

1. Install the sampling bottle

The bottle is positioned inside the REVOBOX® cabinet.

2. Perform sampling

The sample is transferred directly from the valve into the bottle through a fully enclosed path.

3. Close the bottle

The bottle is sealed from outside the cabinet before removal.

4. Remove the sample safely

The sealed bottle can be removed for laboratory analysis while maintaining a clean working environment.

Why Choose the REVOBOX®?

The REVOBOX® provides a simple and effective way to improve sample handling without adding unnecessary process complexity.

Its enclosed design reduces the risk of accidental contamination while offering operators a safer and more ergonomic sampling procedure.

Typical Applications

The REVOBOX® Sampling Cabinet is commonly used in:

  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Fine chemical production
  • Food processing
  • Powder handling
  • GMP manufacturing facilities
  • Laboratory sample collection

Engineering Insight

Protecting the sample after collection is just as important as collecting it correctly. By creating a continuous enclosed passage between the sampling valve and the bottle, the REVOBOX® minimizes the risk of environmental contamination while improving operator ergonomics and maintaining sample integrity.

FAQ

What is the REVOBOX® Sampling Cabinet?

The REVOBOX® is a rigid enclosure that provides a protected environment for collecting powder samples directly from a FAMAT sampling valve.

Which valves is it compatible with?

The REVOBOX® is supplied as the standard solution for DN50 sampling valves and is also available as an option for DN25 models.

Why is the enclosed passage important?

The continuous enclosed passage eliminates dead zones between the valve outlet and the sampling bottle, helping preserve sample integrity and cleanliness.

Can the bottle be sealed before removal?

Yes. The bottle can be closed from outside the cabinet before being removed, reducing the risk of contamination.

Which industries use the REVOBOX®?

The REVOBOX® is suitable for pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries requiring clean, safe and controlled powder sampling.
