TECHNOLOGIE BREVETÉE FAMAT SAMPLING EPT®

Presque l'entier du portfolio FAMAT Sampling est conçue autour de la technologie brevetée du piston  "Expanding Piston Technology" EPT®.

La mécanisme breveté interne au piston permet d'accroitre son diamètre localement, afin d'assurer une étanchéité parfaite dans des conditions sous vide jusqu'à une pression nominale de max. 10 bar (145 psi).

Un des avantages d'avoir un piston extensible est de pouvoir s'affranchir de joints O-ring, qui sont très souvent endommagés durant le process de prélèvement. Ce qui pourrait amener à une contamination (poussière/air) de la production.

Un autre avantage certain de ce design, est d'assurer une fermeture totale avec un contact piston-corps de vanne sans aucune zone morte.  Cela vous assure un échantillon 100% représentatif à chaque prélèvement.

CLOSED POSITION
The piston is flush with the reactor or dryer, leaving no dead space.
A perfect seal is formed directly by the piston against the body of the valve.

SAMPLING PROCEDURE
Turn the handwheel counter clockwise to lower the piston to its open position.
While the product flows down into the sampling bottle, the operator can check the desired quantity of the product through the sight glass.

Turn the handwheel clockwise to bring back the piston in its closed position.
A firm final turn of the handwheel will give reliable sealing and no dead space. Equalise the pressure (or vacuum) in the chamber by opening the valve.
Remove the sampling bottle on its quick coupling connection.
